Wow. More traffic than a busy highway.

February 28, 2009

As the graph suggests, the last 3 days have been a bit busy at JOMG headquarters.

So far my little BackGames meme has been mentioned on B3TA, Offworld, Blues News & Nodwick. (Just to name a few)

BackGames has been played on Twitter (#backgames)
and people are having fun with it on multiple web forums too.

So – if you’re a new visitor to J-OMG, welcome.
If you’re a longtime reader, thanks for your patience during this busy time. You’ll get some great new stories in coming weeks.

If you’d to know when I update – without having to check J-OMG manually, just “subscribe” to the site, using one of these buttons.

And remember, If you’ve got any retro/indie/coinop news/tips/feedback,
please contact me via the “about” page above, or Twitter (@justonemoregame)

Thanks again for your support.

BackGames = Videogame plots in reverse

Over the past few days, there’s been a fun little game running on Twitter called “#backflick”.
As John Gushue explains, it’s a challenge to summarise the plot of famous films, if you saw them in reverse.

Dammit! Tell me where the extra ball is… NOW!

February 12, 2009

My wife & I are big fans of 24, so we’re excited to see that pinball-maker Stern’s new machine is based on the show.

So far, all we’ve got is this photo of the machine, and a fairly detailed press release.
