I don’t like hospitals

Sorry for the lack of updates recently.

Unfortunately, Mrs J-OMG has been in-and-out-and-in hospital recently, and life has been turned upside down for the past 7 days. We *think* she is getting better, but we’ve thought that a few times.

Obviously, there’s been little time for decent sleep, let alone gaming, let alone writing about gaming.

BUT – I do have something special coming up for J-OMG fans… our first ever podcast interview!

Quick update

Please excuse the lack updates in recent weeks – this has been due to 3 simultaneous things:

  1. Our 1st baby (aka “Player 3” aka “baby latte”) is likely to be born this Friday.
  2. My “real” work has been very busy.
  3. I suddenly had a Retro Gamer commission (article to write).

First my mum, now my sister-in-law…

When I launched this videogame blog, I had no idea the women in my life would feature so prominently!

First there was my mum & sister, with their excellent retrogaming Christmas present.

Then – on the same day (just after our Christmas lunch), my sister-in-law asked if I wanted “to see her old Frogger game”. Well, of course!
