Guestblogging today: Avin’ a go at Avatar

Life just got hectic for a bit, but to make it up to you, I’ve got a *great* surprise coming up for you this weekend!

Melbourne’s Age (& Fairfax’s newspapers/websites elsewhere) does a lot of great stuff for videogaming.

I grew up reading C64 reviews in The Green Guide on a Thursday. In the 90’s I read the Icon liftout on a Saturday. And these days, I never miss a post on the fantastic Screen Play blog.

But did all the Age staff get the memo that “near enough isn’t good enough” for covering videogames?

Yesterday, I had a piece published on Jason Hill’s excellent Screen Play blog. It was the story behind Australia’s first “Retro Remakes” category winner.

I’m guest blogging “somewhere else” today, but before I send you to that site… a quick explanation.

12 months ago, I was angry.
